何通りも読み方があることを2度にわたり説明した上で、
クライアントに確認してほしい、とお願いしたら、先述のような答えが返ってきたのです。

先ほど、エージェントから、
クライアントが推測で英語表記してくれていいと言っていること、
推測が間違っていた場合、それが原因で何らかの問題が起こっても、
翻訳者に責任は問わないと言っていると連絡がありました。

英語は達者ではないので、日本語で失礼いたします。
もしかしたら、エージェントは、同じ漢字であっても読み方が何通りかあると知らないのかも知れません。そこを説明したほうがいいと思います。
Maybe the agency does not know that in Japanese there are several ways of reading the names,
